The Sleeper Awakens...

Howdy to anyone who actually remembers this project! 🤣 CÜTE BORG is my cartoon apocalypse hack of MÖRK BORG by Ockult Örtmästare Games and Stockholm Kartell. Originally I had released this game as "beta access" with ambitions of getting a bunch of art for the game and doing a full fancy-pants edition in the properly MÖRKY BORKY style of beautifully chaotic page layouts. Alas, neither the time nor money were ever there to make it happen. As my other projects ballooned in scope and number, my day job responsibilities grew due to the pandemic, and family obligations increased, I put this project on the backest of back-burners.

I was able early on to get art from a fantastic artist named Walter Licínio (@walterlicinio on twitter!) for all of the classes, but I sat on that art for a while hoping to have time and money to get more and do the full layout. That may still happen one day, but it's probably a decent way's off at this point.

So for now, I've cleaned up the layout in the document, added in Walter's fantastic character art for the classes, and I'm calling the piece "complete, for now". Updated version of the text is available now, but I'll be changing the game from PWYW to a paid product at a 7$ price point. A fair price, I think for 52 pages of apocalyptic world-building, new classes, enemies, magic rituals, and Walter's amazing art.
