0.1.d Changelog

  • ✓- Gave slightly more robust explanation of Expeditions, gave Conditions their own header.
  • ✓- Healthy meals buffed (regain HP & MP instead of choosing 1)
  • ✓- "optionalized" the starting packages, making it clearer that a discipline's starting package is only an option and indicating the total starting gold value of 250g a little earlier. 
    • ✓- added text on page 73 indicating the 250g starting budget and optional nature of the starting packages.
  • ✓- Changed wording on REGEN and HP regained from rest & camp scenes to make them no longer heal effects, thus avoiding adjustments from things that boost heal effects (e.g. Sacred Seal).
  • - equipment adjustments:
    • ✓- changed weight stats (see load rebalances below), gave each item individual weight.
    • ✓- Priest's set lost some PDEF. Phalanx set gained a little PDEF.
    • ✓- Single heaviest piece of armor no longer determines SPD penalty, that's now a function of your total equip load.
  • ✓- load rebalances:
    • ✓- Load metric changed from vigor modifier to vigor score.
    • ✓- Individual items granted greater range of weight scores to adjust for this.
  • ✓- resources rebalance: changes to supplies
    • ✓- "Expedition Supplies" have become "Supplies"; some changes to/clarifications on travel rules
    • ✓- Supplies are no longer separated into daily/weekly packages and gold cost is now static per individual unit of supply. The cost of various activities is measured in raw supplies. For example, 1 unit of travel on a long expedition costs ([# of Heroes] × 7) supplies while 1 unit of travel on a short expedition costs (# of Heroes) supplies.
    • ✓- "Crafting/Cooking/Ritual Supplies" have become "Crafting/Cooking/Ritual Materials"
    • ✓- Orphanet trait Tatterdemalion changed-- no longer requires a Camp action, no longer has option for enhanced effect in exchange for special materials.
    • ✓- Nomad trait also adjusted.
  • ✓- Camping/Expedition changes & clarifications:
    • ✓- Types of Camp scenes changed to Full Camp Scenes & Basic Camp Scenes, instead of previous depleted & standard camp scenes.
    • ✓- Expedition rules have been clarified vis-a-vis Camp scenes to indicate that you can only resolve Basic Camp Scenes while undertaking an Expedition. You may resolve 1 Basic Camp Scene per unit of travel on an Expedition. You do not have to do this, this is mostly in case you have HP to regain or projects you'd like to work on while traveling.
    • ✓- Adjusted HP & MP regain from Basic & Full Camp scenes (and resting) to one quarter max for Basic & Rest, to more closely align with the half of max HP/MP gained from Full scenes.
    • ✓- Removed the ability to spend Supplies during a rest to gain Camp actions.
  • ✓- Downtime changes:
    • ✓- Integrated skill training into Downtime actions
    • ✓- Not included in this update but added to work backlog: adding several more downtime actions (e.g. Trade Work, Crime, Hunting). This is in part to create a more robust Downtime experience but also to create more different opportunities for skill trainings.

Updated character sheets coming tomorrow (probably no devlog will accompany that update, they'll just magically appear on itch when I have time to make them form-fillable).
